Arguably the world’s most-coveted beer city, there is no where better to take-up a beer tour than in the heart of beer culture, Munich! Traditional Bavarian beer halls have ruled the roost since the time of Bavarian Beer Purity Laws and before, but Munich’s beer culture has, in fact, evolved since the 16th century!  

We start our beer extravaganza in the heart of Munich’s Marienplatz, where we are but a short walk to our first stop. Here we will sample one of Munich’s younger beers – and when we say ‘young beer’ in Munich, we mean the brewery is from the 19th century!  Take in the cozy ambience of a typical Bavarian Wirtshaus, as you savour a glass of our famous liquid gold while sharing a traditional starter platter.

Your local Munich beer guide begins the journey into the local Münchener beer trail, one that is well travelled by tourist routes and groups. 

Pacing ourselves, we continue through the streets of the old city, embracing the night the way the locals do – by drinking a bottled-beer which was brewed regionally in Bavaria, and eating Germany’s favorite street food delicacy – the doener.

No paper-bag necessary – drinking in public is one of our most celebrated rights!

After taking a quick stop to gawk at the world-famous Hofbrauhaus and learn about it’s important history in our city, we move onto a true Bavarian dessert, a glass of strong beer from a little monastery just outside of Munich.

Your guide will return you to the nearby original meeting point, but the fun doesn’t have to end there. Our experienced local guides are always more than happy to direct you to where all the action is! All you have to do is ask.
